Miss Ava started her childcare journey when she was 12 years old! Her local fire department offers a babysitting course which taught her how to be a smart and safe babysitter. She is forever grateful for the opportunities and knowledge this course provided her.

At the Alcott School, Miss Ava gained experience in the special education preschool setting. She also spent time in early intervention and Montessori classrooms. Here, she is thankful for all she learned about children’s development.

Miss Ava was an enthusiastic infant room teacher at The Goddard School of State College. She learned about infant development starting at 6 weeks old. What she enjoyed most was creating developmentally appropriate activities for the babies each day!
